"Ontario" is coming!

Hi there everybody! Take a second and look around, because the site is going to be revamped a little bit! Why? Well because big things are happening, which you will find out about in this post!

To start off with I thought I should update you and let you know that I am writing things again! For the month of April I am participating in Camp NaNoWriMo. Originally I was aiming for the traditional Nano goal of 50,000 words, but I have had to change my target to 25,000, since it is becoming impractical to aim for 50K while working to publish Ontario. If you didn't know, Camp is a bit more flexible than the real NaNoWriMo, so I can set my own goal, and work on really whatever I want. I could even be a rebel and edit my way to victory, but I'm not quite that much of a rebel. Here's what I am doing this month:

1. Finishing my book Lorn, a young adult fantasy that will be my next published book after Ontario
2. Finishing a children's book I started a while back, Jerry the Dragon Slayer, which, if you follow my blog you know I am finishing for a second grade class at one of my local elementary schools
3. Commencing work on another young adult/early adult fantasy called A Blot of Ink. I few months ago in the middle of the night I got up and wrote out the entire first scene and I adore it, as do several other people who have read it.

So, there you go, camp-wise. We'll see where that takes me. I doubt I'll write 25K more for Lorn, so it should definitely get me to A Blot of Ink, but who knows, right? 

OKAY! Now onto the HUGE stuff! Lots and lots of cool things about Ontario today! First off, see that Rafflecopter thing-a-ma-bob in yonder side bar? ----> It is now live! Get going and get your entries in! As you can see, the prize is an ADVANCED, signed, paperback copy of Ontario! (Shipping only in the U.S., sorry, I'm poor!). If you win this, you are a pretty darn lucky person, like one of a kind! Besides me, you'll be the only one with a copy of the book for a little while! How cool is that?

Now, for the next big thing. I previously announced that Ontario will be released April 29th, and that is still the case, though it has changed a little bit. Beginning April 29th Ontario will be available in paperback and for Kindle. All other formats will be available in following months due to my decision to include Ontario in KDP Select. I hope this is a great learning experience!

And now, the big, huge, freaking awesometacular thing I want to announce today! After months of searching, much work, shifting, thinking, and editing, I have finalized the cover for Ontario!

TADA!!!! This cover has seriously been way harder to decide on than any other I've looked for, but I am so very pleased with it. I hope you like it too!
